Fascinated by the special synergy between female biology and cannabis, and with the mission to normalize cannabis for women and femmes, Shinta Lempers founded Heal Mary in early 2020. Heal Mary wants to actively contribute to the normalization of hemp and cannabis culture. The branding should appeal to women, not the typical male stoners, honor cannabis as a medicinal plant while not deterring it. Each visual had to fit Heal Mary's identity: feminine, holy, artsy and fierce. For the new branding, I created one-off patterns with different shapes that blended seamlessly with the dreamy typography. I applied the visuals to the packaging, as well as to social media and other online assets. Each product now has its own unique pattern, and together they create a recognizable, rebellious yet soft identity.
